AUBURN — Comedian Dave Rattigan will return to the Fireside Inn & Suites at 8 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 3.
Rattigan has a CD that has received heavy play on XM Satellite Radio and still plays on various stations and syndicates around the world. He has written humorous columns for publications, including The Boston Globe and Christian Science Monitor, and is featured in the current issue of the national magazine The Comedians.
He also appears in a recent Olympia Sports commercial with NESN Red Sox field reporter Heidi Watney and Jimmy Dunn, a comedian who stars as “Jimmy the Cabbie” in a series of ads. Rattigan plays a businessman in Dunn’s cab. The cabbie bumps him from the cab in favor of Watney, but not before Dunn informs him that Olympia is having a sale on footwear.
Tickets are $25 for dinner and show, $14 for show-only ($12 with a reservation). Call 777-1777. The Fireside Inn is at 1777 Washington St., at Maine Turnpike exit 75.
