LEWISTON — The October Androscoggin County Chamber of Commerce breakfast program will feature MaryAnn Amrich of the Maine Center for Disease Control who will offer “The Swine Flu: What You Need To Do in the Workplace.”

The program will be held at 7:15 a.m. on Oct. 8 at the Hilton Garden Inn Auburn Riverwatch. Call 783-2249 to reserve a spot. There is a nominal fee for attendance.

Amrich has been the Western District public health liaison to Maine CDC, DHHS and the Office of Local Public Health since March, 2008, and is also currently the H1N1 vaccine coordinator for Western Maine. She was previously the program manager for the Childhood Lead Poisoning Prevention Program in the Maine Department of Health and Human Services, Maine CDC, Division of Environmental Health for 10 years.

Amrich is a pediatric community health nurse who received her BSN from the University of Southern Maine. She is a 2002 graduate of the Northeast Public Health Leadership Institute.
