LEWISTON — The Maine Women’s Fund will host the Women’s
Leadership Series: The Difference Found in Women’s Leadership, from noon to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday,
Jan. 5, at the YWCA, 130 East Ave.

There is much research that invites businesses to acknowledge and
optimize gender differences as a means to improve business performance.
Yet there continues to be the practice of neutralizing gender,
reinforcing the belief that leadership has nothing to do with gender.
The group will discuss the difference found in women’s leadership.

The
event is free and open to the public. For more information, e-mail thewomen@mainewomensfund.org or call 774-5513.
