The artwork of Philip W. Sugg Middle School eighth-grader Keely Domini has been chosen from a number of pieces created by students in Amy Crosby’s art class to be on display at the Portland Museum of Art. “Selecting the piece for a show is one of the hardest decisions of the year. I always agonize over which piece to choose, because there are so many different and equally amazing ones. Several pieces usually stand out for different reasons, and Keely’s portrait did because it was so lifelike,” said Crosby. Her portrait, pictured, will be on display at the museum from 5 to 7:30 p.m. from Saturday, March 6 through Sunday, April 4. Admission to the show is free. For more information on the art show, contact Crosby at 353-3055 or e-mail [email protected].
