WILTON — Team packets for the 2010 Bowl for Kids’ Sake event are ready. The annual event supports the Big Brothers Big Sisters Mentoring Program. This year’s event will be held on Saturday, April 10, at Meadow Lanes.
To participate, call the Child Health Center at 782-5437 for a pledge sheet or visit www.childhealthcenter.org and click on the Bowl For Kids’ Sake icon to download the needed forms.
After receiving a pledge sheet, bowlers should get together with some friends, relatives or coworkers and form a team of four, then call the Child Health Center to reserve a time slot.
Each team member should raise a minimum of $35 in sponsorship money. This year, for the first time, bowlers can register on line and receive donations from family and friends who are not local as well as from those who are.
All proceeds from Bowl For Kids’ Sake will support the school and community based Big Brothers Big Sisters Mentoring Program matches throughout Southern Franklin County.
