CANTON — Former Selectman Donald Hutchins III and Shane Gallant were elected to the Board of Selectmen on Friday. Hutchins received 71 votes and Gallant got 61. Their terms are for three years.
Incumbents Lisa Cummings and Brian Jordan lost their seats. They received 51 and 49 votes, respectively. Jeannette Ouellette had 28 votes.
Thomas Adley and Doleen Goodrow-Boyce were elected to the Planning Board for three years.
Richard Ray received enough votes for the Planning Board, but a person to fill the other vacant seat will be determined later. Town Administrative Assistant Kathy Hutchins said there were many write-in candidates who got one vote.
