AVCO concert this Sunday
Bradley Sperl plays cello alongside his grandmother, Donna Berry, as they rehearse for the Androscoggin Valley Community Orchestra’s concert on Sunday, May 2. Themed “A Celebration of Local Musicians,” the concert will feature works by Robert Schumann, Georg Friederic Händel and Bates College professor William Matthews. It will begin at 3 p.m. at the Franco-American Heritage Center in Lewiston. Tickets are $6; students admitted free. For more information, call 783-1585.
