WILTON — Women, Work and Community is offering a free, three-hour workshop for anyone interested in starting a business. It will be held Sept. 8 from 9 a.m. to noon at the Wilton CareerCenter.
This introductory workshop will discuss the pros and cons of owning a business, how to get started, point out the major elements of a business plan, introduce the many resources available in the Franklin County area and help people decide whether self employment is the right choice.
