FARMINGTON — Maine Centers for Women, Work and Community is offering an Introduction to FDA’s Matched Savings workshop at their Farmington center, 108 Perham St., on Sept. 9 from 6 to 7:30 pm. There is no charge.
The workshop is intended to help individuals learn about matched savings accounts that may help further their education, receive job training, or to start or grow one’s own business. Those who qualify may apply to open a Family Development Account so that every $1 saved can be matched by $2 from public and private investors.
For more information on Women, Work and Community, or to register for the workshop, call 778-2757 or visit: www.womenworkandcommunity.org.
