LEWISTON — The wedding of Gabrielle Jumper and Nicholas Blais took place on Friday evening, May 21, at Holy Family Church in Lewiston. Msgr. Marc Caron officiated the ceremony.

Mrs. Blais is the daughter of Mark and Anne Jumper of Lewiston. Mr. Blais is the son of Kenneth and Catherine Blais of Lewiston.

The bride wore a strapless white gown with embroidery work down the front and back along the train. She carried a bouquet of purple and white Gerber daisies.

Ashia Jumper, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Bailey and Audrey Jumper, sisters of the bride, and Kristina Blais, sister of the bridegroom, Meaghan Loudermilk, Kelsey Rodrigue and Jillian Day, all friends of the bride.

Peter Blais, brother of the bridegroom, was the best man. Groomsmen were Ben and Thomas Jumper, brothers of the bride, and Jared Turcotte, Ryan Lagasse and Wesley Roy, all friends of the bridegroom. Braiden Blais, son of the couple, was the ring bearer.

A reception followed at Lost Valley in Auburn. The couple traveled to Florida in October for their honeymoon. They are residing in Lewiston.

The bride is a 2007 graduate of Lewiston High School and attends the University of Maine at Augusta as a biology major with the plan to graduate with a bachelor’s degree in May. She is currently employed at St. Mary’s d’Youville Pavilion in Lewiston.

The bridegroom is a 2007 graduate of Lewiston High School and a 2009 graduate of Southern Maine Community College with an associate degree in fire science. He currently is employed as an emergency dispatcher at United Ambulance Services in Lewiston and is a volunteer firefighter with Sabattus Fire Department.
