NEWRY — The wedding of Ashley Norton and Ryan Landry was held at 4:30 p.m. on Sept. 30 at the Artist’s Covered Bridge in Newry. The Rev. Donald Coverdale officiated at the ceremony.
Mrs. Landry is the daughter of Robert and Suzanne Norton of Lewiston. Mr. Landry is the son of Robert Landry of Lewiston and the late Diane Landry.
The bride wore an elegant satin strapless ivory ball gown with Cathedral train. The gown was detailed with beaded embroidery on the bodice and the hem of the skirt and she carried a bouquet of red roses.
Ashley Nault, friend of the couple, served as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Olivia Norton, sister of the bride, and Rebecca Tardif, friend of the couple.
Serving as best man was Steve Bell, friend of the couple. Ushers were Ryan Barry and Ben Lachance, friends of the couple.
A reception followed at the Jordan Grand Resort at Sunday River Ski Resort, after which the couple traveled to Ocho Rios in Jamaica. They are residing in Gardiner.
The bride is a 2008 cum laude graduate of the University of New England with a degree in dental hygiene. She is currently employed as a dental hygienist at Falmouth Dental Arts in Falmouth.
The bridegroom is a 2007 graduate of Thomas College with a master’s degree. He is currently employed at Skowhegan Savings Bank as an IT specialist.
