MEXICO — The following incidents were handled by the Mexico Police Department.

Arrests

* Kenneth Blanchard, 36, Osgood Avenue, Mexico, violation of a protection from abuse order, March 14, at Osgood Avenue. He was released from the Mexico Police Department on $800 unsecured bail, and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on April 5.

* Darren Joudrey, 49, Roxbury Road, Mexico, on a charge of domestic assault, at 1:50 a.m., March 11, on Roxbury Road. He was released from the Mexico Police Department on $800 unsecured bail, and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on April 5.

Accident

* Scott A. Walton, 43, Park Avenue, Dixfield, collided with a deer at 11:51 p.m., March 14, as he was driving a 2011 Dodge pickup west on Route 2. The deer was killed. The truck sustained $1,200 damage. A second deer may also have been hit. Sgt. Roy Hodsdon said deer are beginning to move. He warned drivers to be on the lookout as they travel.
