LEWISTON — Two teenagers were arrested Thursday and charged in a Wednesday morning attack on Blake Street that left a 15-year-old boy with several stab wounds.

Police arrested the young men shortly after noon Thursday in downtown Lewiston. The suspects were not identified as police continued to investigate the early-morning attack.

Police said the victim had just left his Blake Street apartment at about 1 a.m. Wednesday when he got into an altercation with a group of other young men. The victim later told police he did not know why he was stabbed.

The 15-year-old was taken to Central Maine Medical Center where he was treated for multiple stab wounds and later released.
