NORWAY — Jessica LeConte, customer service representative for Norway Savings Bank, was named 2010 Employee of the Year.

LeConte was nominated by several employees from all areas of the bank for commitment to Norway Savings and for being a dependable, proactive, high-achiever. She has been with the bank for three-and-a-half years and works in the main office in Norway.

The President’s Award was given to Vice President Mary Hewett, employee development and training manager, for her talent and leadership across the organization. She works in both the Congress Street, Portland, office and the operations center in Norway.

The following employees were recipients of an awards certificate for exhibiting elements of the bank’s culture through their daily responsibilities and high quality of work:

Achievement Award: Faith Smith (Saco branch) and Chuck Williams (finance).

Branding Award: Krissy Dillingham (HR) and Jackie Morin (Norway branch).

Communications Award: Janel Danforth (IT networks) and Jill French (training).

Customer Service Award: Shelly Stevens (deposit operations) and Shari Vigue (Congress St., Portland branch).

Empowerment Award: Katie Letourneau (Norway branch) and Debbie Ward (retail administration).

Leadership Award: Ann Brett (IT networks) and Sandie Randall (Yarmouth branch).

Team Player Award: Julie Flather (retail loan center) and Kevin Sunderland (IT networks).

Service awards were given to the following employees for their tenure with Norway Savings Bank:

25 years of service: Sharon Bean.

20 years of service: Fran Adams and Clark Martin.

15 years of service: Janice Brown and Shari Vigue.
