RUMFORD — A Mass of Christian Burial for Elizabeth B. Chase was celebrated Thursday at St. Athanasius-St. John Church in Rumford with Father Phil Tracy as the celebrant. The altar server was George Gionet and the organist was Mark Belanger. Musical selections included “Be Not Afraid,” “Because The Lord is My Shepherd” and “Fly Like a Bird.” “Amazing Grace” was sung by Rhonda Chase and “I Want to Know You” was sung by Stephen Gosselin. A reading was given by granddaughter, Micki Gosselin. Eulogies were given by Angie Chase and Bob Chase, grandchildren. Giftbearers were Kim Chase and Brenda Chase. Pallbearers were Bob Chase, Kevin Chase, Todd Chase, Brian Chase, David Chase, Scott Chase and Paul Chase. Committal services were conducted by Father Tracy. Interment was in St. John Cemetery, Rumford. Arrangements by Meader and Son Funeral Home.
