The Summer Basketball League and Androscoggin Home Care & Hospice were each presented with $1,000 donations at the recent ribbon-cutting ceremony at McDonalds, 123 Center S. Owner/operators David and Janice Hamilton celebrated the grand opening by making the donations. The money will help fund operating costs for the basketball league and be used by the Hospice House to benefit care and support services there. The Hamiltons are South Paris residents and own McDonald’s restaurants in Lisbon Falls, Topsham and Lewiston, and on Minot Avenue and Center Street in Auburn.
