The 11-year-old all-stars  from Elliot Ave. Little League started their 2011 District 5 tournament with a shortened 17-0 win over Augusta.

Elliot scored a run in the first on a single by Mitchel Frisbie, an error and a groundout.

After a scoreless second inning, Elliot scored three more runs in the third inning. Noah Binette walked to lead off the inning. He scored on a triple by Frisbie.Frisbie scored on a towering home run by Haydn Dumont.

Elliot added five more runs in the fourth, with four hits highlighted by a two-run double by Frisbie and a RBI single by Jared Rubin. Elliot opened the flood gates with nine more runs in the fifth inning.

Frisbie was dominant on the mound with a complete game performance, needing only 50 pitches and a stellar defensive fielding team to earn the win.

Frisbie scored four runs. Dumont three times, Desmond Jackson two and Rubin, Jordan Dumont, Logan Freve, Sean Lake, Marciano Webster, Noah Binette, and Jalen Allison one each.

Elliot’s next game is Thursday, July 14 at Auburn Suburban at 5:30 p.m.
