KINGFIELD — Mt. Abram Regional Health Center will hold an open house Sept. 8 from 4 to 6 p.m. at 25 Depot St.

The public will have an opportunity to meet and welcome the center’s newest provider, Shannon Doughty, FNP, and honor Health Center board President Don Fowler, who is retiring. Light refreshments will be served and tours of the center will be available.

Doughty joined the medical team in the spring. She has more than five years of experience as a family nurse practitioner in a variety of settings, including family practice, urgent care and sub-acute settings, working with infants 30 days old to retired citizens of 104 years.

Fowler has been on the board of directors since the health center’s inception in 1986 and has played an integral role in the health center’s ongoing success through the years. He has also served as board president for a number of years.
