As we look to round out the 2011 year, the Franklin County Chamber of Commerce will be holding its Annual Meeting Dinner on Wednesday, November 16, in the North Dining Hall of the University of Maine at Farmington.

We are reaching out to you in hopes that you will join us for the evening as we celebrate our collective efforts in the community, and formally recognize those member organizations and individuals that went above and beyond in Franklin County during 2011.

We are very excited to bring Maine humah-ist Gary Crocker to the 2011 evening line up. Mr. Crocker is a longtime comedian and Maine native, who began performing locally in 1980, and is now a nationally renowned humorist, educator and motivational speaker on the subject of humor and wellness. We also need your input to help determine the most deserving award recipients. Available on our website, franklincountymaine.org, is a nomination form for the Large Business, Small Business, and Non-Profit/Group/Club of the Year Awards, as well as a list of criteria and eligible participants to assist you in the nomination process. It takes just a moment to complete, and is a great way to show your acknowledgement and support of a deserving Chamber member, including your own organization. We request that all nominations be submitted to the Chamber, via mail, fax, or email, no later than November 7, 2011.
