Art, ornaments display
FARMINGTON — Celebration of Christmas on Front Street will take place from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 9, and from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the Washburn Johnson Gallery. The work of fiber artist, Mary McFarlane, and the Christmas ornaments of Janalee Welch will be featured.
The opening of a showing featuring the calendar work of McFarlane and Mike Monahan takes place from 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 16.
Community breakfast
KINGFIELD — A community all-you-can-eat breakfast is being offered Saturday, Dec. 10, from 7:30 to 10 a.m. at the Kingfield United Methodist Church.
The menu will include homemade cinnamon oatmeal, sausage gravy with biscuits, pancakes, French toast, sausage, bacon, scrambled eggs, home-fries, muffins, coffee and juice. The cost is $5 per person, all you can eat. A discounted rate is available for children.
