Coach: Scott Graffam (13th year)

Last year’s record: 6-12

Returning players: Seniors — Josh MacDonald (6-3 center), Deric Hanscom (6-1 forward), Brian Lynch (6-0 guard), Alex Ferguson (6-0 guard); Juniors — Jordan Croteau (6-1 forward), John Frechette (6-1 forward); Sophomore — Matt Beauchesne (5-6 guard).

Key losses: Matt McVety, Dan Taylor, Derek Morin, Chris Priest.

Promising newcomers: Seniors — Brandon Campbell (6-3 center), Mike MacDonald (6-1 guard), Nick Record (6-0 guard), Tyler Brown (5-8 guard); Juniors — Jake Plummer (6-2 forward), Ken Lynch (5-10 guard), Ryan Godin 6-0 guard/forward).

Outlook: An experienced group of eight seniors and five juniors gives Oxford Hills hope of upward mobility in a loaded KVAC. Josh MacDonld, Lynch and Hansom contributed heavily a season ago, when the Vikings blew out Brewer late in the year and hung tough with several tournament teams. Croteau, Frechette and Beauchesne are good, all-around athletes. Despite its lack of glaring size, Oxford Hills was a solid rebounding team last season. TheVikings should be in the mix in the KVAC South.

Coach’s comment: “EL, Lewiston and Brunswick look to be the best in the south. We believe we can compete with these teams.” — Coach Scott Graffam
