AUBURN — Jeannette G. Beaudoin, 86, of the Chapman House, 41 Pleasant St., Auburn, died at her home while being held by her daughter on Saturday, Jan. 21.

She was born in Lewiston, Aug. 28, 1925, the daughter of Alphonse and Pamela Poulin Theberge. Educated in local schools, she was employed over the years by Clark Shoe, Theberge Sewing Machine Co., Arrow Hart, in the office of Dr. Poirier, and then cared for her mother until her passing.

On Sept. 22, 1945, she married George J. Beaudoin, who passed away in 1968. She was an avid bingo player, enjoyed jigsaw and word search puzzles, her handheld poker game and crafts of all sorts. She was also an excellent cook, and chocolate creme pie was a favorite of her family and friends.

A member of Sacred Heart Church, Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish, she was a past-treasurer of the Sacred Heart Golden Age Club, and belonged to the American Legion Auxiliary and Auburn Senior Citizens.

Survivors include a daughter, Georgette Curran of Harpswell; a granddaughter, Kelly and husband, Chris Bordeau, of Burlington, Vt.; two great-grandsons, Phineaus and Zackery; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by four brothers, Raynald, Bertrand, Normand and Richard; and two sisters, Adrienne Cote and Carmen Therrien.
