JAY — Police charged a local man Saturday in connection with a burglary of an unlocked shed reported March 7.
Officer Nicholas Gulliver arrested Corey J. Towers, 21, of Jay, on felony charges of burglary and theft, and a misdemeanor charge of violation condition of release, Detective Richard Caton IV said Monday.
Gulliver conducted an investigation that led to Towers’ arrest, he said.
The $1,000 to $1,500 worth of tools stolen from the shed were not recovered, Caton said.
Towers was listed as still being in Franklin County jail on Monday in Farmington
