DEAR SUN SPOTS: My name is on the national Do Not Call Registry. I have since changed my phone number from my original number. Now when I try to register my current number, I get a message that says that I’ve exceeded my limit to register my number. Who can I contact to get this issue resolved?

Thanks for your help and thanks for your help resolving issues for so many people. — No Name via email

ANSWER: According to some online posts, the easiest way to get around the limit is to use a different email address. You can sign up for free email on Yahoo, Google or other sites, then use that email for your new number.

DEAR SUN SPOTS: In the past few years I have been to various dentists and doctors and noticed that they nearly all are computerized. They go from my mouth or body to typing on the keyboard and back and forth several times.

I am wondering who was in the office before and are their germs being transferred from the keyboard to me? Who is the next one in line for my germs. What is the point of the docs wearing gloves? They handle the equipment, computer and room furniture intermittently with touching the patient with the gloves on or off. Thanks for your help! — No Name via email

ANSWER: Sun Spots has never had that happen to her. If she did, she would say something to the doctor or other medical professional, or perhaps find a new doctor!

DEAR SUN SPOTS: To No Name in New Gloucester (April 19), who was having a problem with an eroding bank, another plant that will stabilize a slope is lupine. They have thick, strong roots that can drill into pure clay.

No Name should not try to transplant live ones; those roots make them very difficult to move successfully. Seeds planted this spring will be plants large enough next year to start holding the bank where it belongs. Thank you. — Tracy via email

DEAR SUN SPOTS: In September I wrote into the column asking for the community to help Lisbon Community School collect Box Tops. I would like to thank everyone who mailed Box Tops to me all school year. We truly appreciate it!

The money we get in return for those Box Tops helps the PTO support field trips, monthly family events, teacher requests and much more. Box Top collection is a year-round event; it never stops. So please keep collecting.
