Singer-songwriter and jazz guitarist Patty Larkin will perform at St. Lawrence Arts Center in Portland on Friday, June 8.

PORTLAND — Veteran singer-songwriter and jazz guitarist Patty Larkin will give a benefit performance for the St. Lawrence Arts Center on Friday, June 8.

She will perform songs from her 2010 release, “25,” a collection of 25 love songs in celebration of her 25 years in the recording industry.

On “25,” Larkin reworked 25 of her favorite songs  from 1985-2010 with voice and acoustic guitar. She is joined by “friends and cohorts, troubadours, renegades, humorists, folk philosophers, dreamers, realists, poets, bards — people who defined a generation of music that wove inside and outside of the box,” according to her website.

Among the artists featured on “25” are Shawn Colvin, Mary Chapin Carpenter, Bruce Cockburn, Dar Williams, Suzanne Vega, Rosanne Cash, John Gorka, Erin McKeown, Chris Smither, Martin Sexton and Cheryl Wheeler.

Tickets to the 7 p.m. show are $35 in advance/$40 at the door. Tickets available at www.brownpapertickets.com. St. Lawrence Arts Center is at 76 Congress St.
