NORWAY — Trish Logan, owner of Photography by Trish Logan, LLC, has been named a Silver Medal winner by the Professional Photographers of America. She will be honored later this month in Atlanta at the Grand Imaging Awards.

To earn the designation of Silver Medalist, her work was judged based on technical, artistic and photographic excellence at the 2012 International Print Competition. Each of her four entries were graded as work worthy of professional merit. In addition to that rating, one of her entries was deemed to be of quality high enough for acceptance into the 2012 PPA Loan Collection for exhibition and publication in this year’s Loan Collection Book.

This medal designation was awarded to only 60 photographers in the 2012 competition.

Logan is an award-winning photographer specializing in fine art portrait photography. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in photography through the Professional Photographers of America.

She has studied at the New England Institute of Professional Photography 2012 and has attended photography training and specialty workshops nationwide.

She is director of the Maine Professional Photographers Association and a trustee of the N.E. Institute of Professional Photography. She also belongs to the Professional Photographers of America, Professional Photographers of New England, Maine Professional Photographers Association, the Oxford Hills Chamber of Commerce  and Business Networking International.
