TURNER — The annual ham supper held by the North Turner Union Presbyterian Church is scheduled this year for Friday, May 31, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the GAR Hall on the Howes Corner Road, Route 219.

In addition to ham, the folks of the church are planning to serve potato salad, cole slaw, applesauce, several other veggies, homemade rolls and homemade desserts. This is one of the public’s favorite suppers and the turnout is always good.

Since several people asked at Mud Supper, the church will have the remaining church cookbooks available for sale as well as a schedule of church events including suppers available for anyone who wants one.

There is no set price and goodwill donations are taken at the door. All proceeds go to the operational budget of the church.

There will be some plants, mostly perennials, for sale during the supper. If anyone has plants they would like to donate call 225-3370, 224-7913 or 224-7461.
