STRATTON — New England Celtic Arts will present Erica Brown and the Bluegrass Connection Friday, May 31, at the newly formed Route 27 Arts at the Stratton Community Building. This concert will launch a collaboration of six shows between Skye Theatre and Route 27 Arts.
The Kingfield POPS will also help promote the shows in their region. Other collaborations include Phillips Area Community Center and the Rangeley Friends of the arts. Each of the partners plan to collectively market the region in 2014 as the “Maine Ring of High Peaks Concert Series” through the High Peaks Creative Council.
Other shows in the series feature Ten Strings and a Goat Skin on Friday, July 5; Vishten on Friday, July 12; Isabeau et les Chercheurs D’or on Friday, August 9; Samantha Robishaud on Saturday, August 24; and April Verch on Tuesday, September 24. An additional concert is scheduled with Crossroads Celtic Festival on Thursday, September 12.
