MEXICO — Funeral services for Clifford J. Stacey were conducted Sunday afternoon at Mexico First Baptist Church, Mexico, with the Rev. Tony Rea officiating. Organist was Tim Blodgett.
A time of remembering was shared by daughter, Sherry McCarthy, stepdaughter, Kelly Burgess and the Rev. Tony Rea. Words of remembrance were shared by many family and friends. Music selections were “I Believe In A Hill Called Mount Calvary,” “In The Garden” and “Amazing Grace.” Special music, “Victory in Jesus,” was sung by guitarist, the Rev. Tony Rea.
Scripture readings were given by granddaughters, Abbey Stacey and Katie McCarthy, and grandsons, Travis Stacey and Sean McCarthy. Committal services with military honors were conducted at the Farrington-Morton Cemetery, Mexico, with the Rev. Tony Rea officiating. Military honors were provided by the Maine Military Funeral Honors Program from Augusta. A reception followed at the Mexico First Baptist Church Fellowship Hall, Mexico. Arrangements were under the care of the Meader and Son Funeral Home, Rumford.
