JAY — Maine Country Music Hall Of Famer Bob Elston along with Maine Country Music Hall Of Famer Bing Crosby and his wife, Nancy Crosby, plus 10-time Maine Country Music Award-winning songwriter Randall T. Pinkham Sr. will play a traditional country music dance to benefit the Western Maine Homeless Outreach. The performance will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 10, at the Jay AMVETS Post 33.

Admission is a $5 donation at the door. There will be a 50/50 raffle.

The Western Maine Homeless Outreach’s purpose is to help all the homeless in need within the Franklin County area and beyond. The shelter is temporarily located at Living Waters Church in Farmington.
The organization is hoping to raise enough funds to start a permanent shelter at a different location elsewhere later down the road.

The organization is looking for volunteers for the shelter and is also taking donations to help fund the shelter.
