Join the Franklin County Chamber of Commerce in “Celebrating Stars in Business & Community” at this year’s Annual Awards Dinner on Thursday, Nov. 21, 2013. The Large Business, Small Business, and Nonprofit Service Awards give recognition to businesses or organizations that are achieving success through their commitment to excellence.
The nominees in consideration should:
Consistently uphold the principles and standards of ethical business practices
Respect and value their employees and or volunteers
Participate loyally in community-wide efforts to improve the region
Deliver quality customer satisfaction
Continually promote the economic growth of Franklin County
Nominees must meet the following criteria to be considered for an award:
Been a member of the Franklin County Chamber of Commerce for at least three consecutive years
Follows ethical business practices
Demonstrates exceptional customer service
Practices respectful and equality-based management/employee relations
Visibly shows a commitment to the community
Promotes and or contributes to the economic growth of Franklin County
Exhibits evidence of continued success and future growth
The business owner, employee, vendor, or customer who has experienced direct contact with the business/organization may submit nominations for said awards.
Please note, you may submit a nomination for each award: Large Business, Small Business, and Nonprofit Service.
Nomination forms have been mailed to all Chamber members. They can also be obtained on our website at www.franklincountymaine.org and at the Chamber office.
Nominations are due in the Chamber office on or before Thursday, Nov. 7, 2013. Forms may be mailed, faxed, emailed, or hand delivered to the Chamber’s office.
The Annual Dinner Meeting Committee will review the nominations and select the award recipients based on the outlined criteria. The top three nominees for each category will be invited to attend the Annual Meeting and the winners will be announced and awards presented during the Annual Awards Dinner on Thursday, Nov. 21, 2013.
