PERU — State police arrested two local men Thursday afternoon on felony drug trafficking charges.
Trooper Jason Wing charged Corey Noel Beale, 33, of 100 Pleasant St. and Dwight F. Millett, 26, of 71 Pleasant St. with unlawful trafficking in scheduled drugs. They were taken to Oxford County Jail in Paris.
Both men were freed Friday on $50,000 worth of real estate each; Beale at 11:55 a.m. and Millett at 1:35 p.m.
A court clerk said both are to be arraigned at 8:30 a.m. Jan. 7, but that could change if both get indicted by a grand jury.
Calls to state police for more information were not returned.
