FARMINGTON — A benefit supper for Tarek Haines is being held from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 24, at the Farmington Elks Lodge at 120 School St. in West Farmington.
The cost for the potluck supper is $8 for adults and $5 for children.
Tarek, 12, of Farmington collapsed after running laps at football practice in late October. He had several strokes and had emergency open heart surgery to remove a piece of tumor in his heart that had broken off and went to his brain.
The benefit is to help the family with expenses.
There will also be a raffle.
