RUMFORD — Funeral services with Military Honors for Mr. John B. “Jack” Flagg, of Turner, were conducted 1 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 19, at the MEADER & SON FUNERAL HOME, 3 Franklin St., P. O. Box 537, Rumford, ME 04276 with the Rev. Carol Stevens officiating. Music included “The Old Rugged Cross.” Prayers were given by the Rev. Oscar Hebert, Past District Commander and Chaplain of the Dixfield American Legion Post 100. Poem and words of remembrance were given by Morgan and Karra Flagg. Committal services were conducted by the Rev. Carol Stevens and the Rev. Oscar Hebert. Interment was at the Demeritt Cemetery, West Peru. Military Honors were provided by the Maine Military Funeral Honors Program from Augusta. A reception followed at the American Legion Post 100, Dixfield.
