LEWISTON — Tim Hortons and Cold Stone Creamery on Lisbon Street closed overnight Monday due to “changing demands in the market,” according to a corporate spokeswoman.
Workers could be seen removing signs on the building Monday morning.
Brynne Burton said the closure was permanent and that openings and closings “are a part of how we manage our business to best serve the changing demands of each of our U.S. markets.”
The location at 855 Lisbon St. opened in 1999. The chain has other stores on Sabattus Street in Lewiston, and Center Street and Minot Avenue in Auburn.
