Luncheon set for Feb. 8

FARMINGTON — A macaroni and cheese luncheon will be held from noon to 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 8, at the Old South First Congregational Church, 227 Main St.

Meal includes ham, peas, rolls and cupcakes.

There is no charge.

Emmanual plans free lunch

LIVERMORE FALLS — Emmanual Assembly of God will host a free lunch from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 8, at the American Legion Hall, 17 Reynolds Ave.

All ages are welcome.

Lunches are held on the second Saturday of the month until June.

Make Valentines at Resource Depot

FARMINGTON — Everyone’s Resource Depot invites children and adults to make Valentines at workshops that will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. on Feb. 10-14.

Those who attend will be able to choose from a wide variety of materials, including yarn, ribbon, card stock, red envelopes, glitter, sequins, odd bits of lace and trim, and pretty papers.

Many samples will be on display to help stimulate creativity. All ages are welcome, and $1 will be charged to cover materials and instruction.

ERD is located in the Education Center, Room 9, on the UMF campus at the corner of High and Lincoln streets. It is open to the public during regular business hours: Monday through Friday from 3?5 p.m. and Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon.

ERD’s programs are offered to the public to create awareness of the fun involved in reusing scrap materials.

Chesterville Grange ‘souper’ supper

CHESTERVILLE — The Chesterville Grange will have a public “souper” supper from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 14.

LIVERMORE FALLS — American Legion Post 10 George Bunten will hold a public supper from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 15, at the Post, 17 Reynolds Ave.

Menu includes homemade baked beans, red hot dogs, biscuits, fried chicken, macaroni and cheese, assorted casseroles and vegetables, desserts and coffee.

Masonic supper for building fund

WILTON — There will be a public Masonic supper at the Harland M. Harnden Masonic Hall from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 15, at 70 Bryant Road, to benefit the Building Fund.

Menu will be baked Black Forest ham, mashed potatoes, vegetables, dinner rolls, assorted homemade pies and beverages. Cost is $8 for adults, $5 for those under age 12.
