LEWISTON — Wesley P. Fairfield, M.D., a specialist in endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism, has earned endocrine certification in neck ultrasound from a national professional organization.

The American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists has certified that Fairfield successfully demonstrated his skills at using both diagnostic ultrasound and ultrasound-guided neck ultrasonography to evaluate thyroid and parathyroid disorders through fine needle aspiration.
