JACKMAN (AP) — Police responding to reports of a burglary at a Jackman store found that nothing had been stolen, but they did find a man sleeping inside.

Somerset sheriff’s deputies and U.S. Border Patrol agents responded to Bishop’s Store at about 2 a.m. Thursday, after getting a call from the owner.

The Morning Sentinel (http://bit.ly/1fE3DEW ) reported that police found that the plate glass door in the general store had been smashed.

They also found 46-year-old Randy Davis of Leicester, Mass., asleep on the floor in an aisle. Police said it appears Davis had been drinking.

Davis was arrested on misdemeanor charges of criminal trespass and criminal mischief. He was released on bail and is scheduled to appear in court in May. He could not immediately be reached.
