AUGUSTA (AP) — The Maine Community College System Board of Trustees is ready to set its tuition rate for the 2014-15 academic year.
The trustees are scheduled to meet to set the rate on Wednesday. The college system said on its website that a two-year associates degree from a Maine community college averages about $3,350 per year in tuition and fees. The price per credit was $88 for in-state students in the 2013-14 academic year.
The system includes campuses in Auburn, Bangor, Fairfield, Presque Isle, South Portland, Calais and Wells and enrolls more than 18,000 students.
The tuition meeting is scheduled to begin at 12:30 p.m. in Augusta.
