RUMFORD — Funeral services with Military Honors for James Lawrence Kenney of Rumford were conducted 11 a.m. Saturday, May 31, at the Andover Congregational Church, Andover, with the Rev. Jane Rich officiating.
Organist was Linda Dyer. Music selections included “This is My Father’s World” and “Amazing Grace.” The choir sang “I’ll Meet You in the Morning.” Special music, “Wind Beneath My Wings,” was sung by pianist Kathryn Coolidge. Words of remembrance were given by his daughter, Linda Puiia.
Committal services were conducted by the Rev. Jane Rich. Military Honors were provided by the Maine Military Funeral Honors Program of Augusta.
Interment at a later date will be at the Upton Cemetery, Upton. A reception followed in the church Christian Education Building. Arrangements were under the care of the MEADER & SON FUNERAL HOME, 3 Franklin St., P. O. Box 537, Rumford, ME 04276.
