- Kelly Brown (87) of Lewiston, Laurie Nicholas (523) of Gorham and Brian Banton (339) of Lewiston lead a group of runners as they cross the Bernard Lown Peace Bridge between Auburn and Lewiston during the Bridge Run on Sunday morning. The race/walk is the final leg of the Greater L-A Triple Crown 5K Series. Brown was the first woman to finish, with a time of 19:32. Moninda Marube of Auburn finished first overall with a time of 15:15, missing the course record by one second. Proceeds from the race benefit the Bridge Run Foundation, which pays for all Triple Crown registrants 14 and under and sponsors six kids for a week of summer camp.
