DURHAM, N.H. — Police say three men tried to force a University of New Hampshire student into the trunk of their car.
The university’s police department says the attempted abduction happened early Friday morning adjacent to campus. No arrests have been made.
The student told investigators two of the men got out of a tan sedan with South Carolina plates and tried to pull her into the trunk. The kidnapping attempt was foiled when friends of the student arrived at the scene.
Investigators say the student described the men as “military looking.” She was not injured.
