Mechanics Savings Bank recently broke ground on its new multi-million-dollar campus in Auburn. The plans include a new, 4,140-square-foot branch on the corner of Minot Avenue and Elm Street, expected to open in summer 2015. The bank will renovate the existing 10,000-square-foot office building, with an anticipated completion date of late 2016. The bank has been headquartered in Auburn since its founding in 1875.
