LEWISTON — Marie Norelus-Eliezer announces the opening of the Caribe Restaurant at 81 College St. A grand opening is set for 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 19.
Norelus-Eliezer was born in the Caribbean and has been living in Maine for 14 years. She has worked as a health-care professional and in various restaurants.
Norelus-Eliezer said the restaurant will feature special Caribbean offerings with flavors that are bold and spicy, demonstrating an African aesthetic.
Takeout service will be available. The restaurant can be reached at 241-2800.
