Auburn-based Maine Oxy hosted the annual Maine Oxy Charity Golf Tournament at Prospect Hill Golf Course in Auburn in September to support Make-A-Wish Maine. It raised more than $12,000, which will be used to help grant wishes for Maine children battling life-threatening medical conditions. Because the average cost of one Make-A-Wish wish is $6,000, the donation will support two wishes. Next year’s fundraiser will be held Saturday, Sept. 19, at Fox Ridge Golf Club in Auburn.
