State releases official results for November elections

FARMINGTON — The office of the Maine Secretary of State posted the results of the Nov. 4 election on its website Tuesday morning.

The website is www.maine.gov/sos/cec/elec.

All of Franklin County government positions were unopposed.

Judge of Probate Richard Morton of Farmington, a Republican, was re-elected for another term with 12,292 votes. He has served the county for more than 30 years.

Franklin County Treasurer Pam Prodan, a Democrat from Wilton, was elected with 11,087 votes.

Andrew Robinson, a Democrat from Farmington, was elected district attorney for Androscoggin, Franklin and Oxford counties with 65,456 votes.

Clyde Barker, a Republican from Strong, was re-elected to a second term as a county commissioner from District 3 with 4,214 votes.

Susan Black, Franklin County register of deeds, received 12,249 votes to be re-elected. The Republican has served as register for more than three decades.

Town clerks had to send results to the state by Nov. 7 and the state had 20 days after receipt to determine the official results, an agency representative previously said.
