CAMDEN — Camden National Bank recently recognized Ryan Smith, senior vice president, commercial regional manager based in Auburn, with the prestigious award of Officer of the Year for 2014. The award was presented at the company’s annual Leadership Forum, held at the Samoset Resort in Rockport.
In his role at Camden National, Smith has a loyal customer following and displays unwavering dedication to the success of his clients, making him a trusted partner. He is also a leader and mentor for his fellow employees, finding and developing the unique skills of each of those he has in his team. This leadership and dedication extends outside the work environment as well where he coaches youth athletics and is involved in various professional and community organizations.
A resident of Auburn, Smith joined Camden National in 2012 and has 17 years of commercial lending experience. Active in the local community, he serves on the boards of the Auburn Business Development Corp. and the Maine Building Materials Exchange. He was joined by his wife and children as he received his award.
