TURNER — The Leavitt Area High School Project Grad 2015 Committee has been busy lining up donations for its auction scheduled for March 21 at the school cafeteria.

Preview begins at 9 a.m., with the opening call by auctioneer Bryan Marshall at 10 a.m., ending at around 2 p.m. Breakfast and lunch items will be available for purchase at the concession stand.

The names of all donors will be posted at the auction. Cash contributions in any amount are also gratefully appreciated right up to June graduation and can be sent to LAHS Project Grad P.O. Box 96, Turner, ME 04282.

Project Graduation committees fundraise to provide a chem/alcochol-free, fun-filled, all-night celebration for their high school graduates.

This year’s seniors at Leavitt will enjoy an overnight excursion at Adventure-Bound in Caratunk where they will enjoy movies, dancing, sports and games, a bonfire, lots of food and many other activities followed by a guided white-water rafting trip the next morning.

This year’s auction inventory includes: a one-night stay at the Hilton Garden Inn; a one-night stay with breakfast at the Hampton Inn; $200 gift card from Patriot Fireworks; four Boston Red Sox tickets (Don Ricker); two season passes to The Theater at Monmouth; a $250 credit on a Norwegian Cruise Line cruise; a full-size quilt; a full-size quilt in Leavitt colors (Margo Smith); two $100 certificates for two yards of organic compost (Caldwell Farms); a machine gun shoot for single group of 4 at G3 Firearms in Turner plus many other items.
