LEWISTON — Funeral services honoring the life of Francis Nagy was held Thursday morning, April 9, at the Pinette Dillingham & Lynch Funeral Home with the Rev. Peter Mars presiding.
During the service, the Rev. Mars invited those in attendance to share their memories of Frank after which the song “Ave Maria” was played as a tribute to Frank.
Following a funeral procession to St. Peter’s Cemetery, the Rev. Mars recited committal prayers. At the conclusion of committal prayers, the United States Navy Honor Detail played Taps and folded and presented our country’s flag to Frank’s daughter, CDR Sylvia Nagy, DMD, USN in recognition of her father’s service during the Vietnam War as well as his 20-year career with the United States Navy.
The pallbearers were Gabriel, Martin and Orson Horchler, Daniel and Peter Hart, Peter Perkins, Charles Vincent and Kenneth Ash.
All in attendance were then invited to a reception of fellowship at Marco’s Restaurant in Lewiston. Arrangements by Pinette Dillingham & Lynch Funeral Home, Lewiston.
