RUMFORD — A Mass of Christian Burial honoring the Life of Lillian Irish was celebrated at noon Monday, April 13, at Parish of the Holy Savior.

The Rev. Greg Dube was the celebrant, and Bernard Poirier was the altar server. Mark Belanger was the organist. Music selections were “Because the Lord Is My Shepherd,” “The Old Rugged Cross,” “Let There Be Peace On Earth” and “Amazing Grace,” sung by Rena Fitzmorris. The Old Testament was proclaimed by Andrea Connor, and the New Testament was proclaimed by Steve Irish. Prayer of the Faithful was offered by Jen Gantrish, and Offertory Gifts were presented by Nolan Gantrish and Mason Gantrish. Personal reflections were shared by Andrea Perry and Sarah Irish. Pallbearers were Jennifer Gantrish, Torrey Viger, Matthew Irish, Donna Irish, Andrea Connor and Sarah Irish. A reception followed at 49 Franklin.

Spring interment will be in St. John Cemetery.
